You cant take in 6 inches off a waist, the rest of the pants are going to be way too big as well (leg opening, thighs etc.) railcar offers a service to take in the waist and taper the jeans - but by the time you factor in shipping and everything you want - just buy some new jeans man.All they had was a 30x34 but I think a 31 or 32 would fit me a lot better. Denim only gets lighter by washing the indigo out over many washes. There are a few, but not many brands which a different dye to provide a lighter blue. Especially in jackets. I would look at N&F but not sure who else might make something like that in a jacket.Not exactly cheap, but well-priced in relation to other Japanese denim brands. I’d say Gustin and Brave Star are best bang for the buck. For Gustin you would need to look for there 60-80 dollar cone mills denim they sell periodically. Raws/unsanforized will shrink after washing and choosing the right size may be tricky; prewashed/sanforized will stretch after a while, depending on fabric. I’d say Gustin and Brave Star are best bang for the buck. For Gustin you would need to look for there 60-80 dollar cone mills denim they sell periodically. This was before I knew about truly raw denim. One pair had the butt seam blowout when I squat down at work. This was like the second time wearing them.
